2 new floor tiles on the block

Spotted and walked on in Southport today. Charles Davison's Ewloe Barn Brick and Tile Works and Old Ewloe works was active from 1933 to 1951, and was later merged with General Refractories Ltd, and then taken over by the firm of G. R. Stein Ltd. The site closed in 1967

Fascinating, my ancestors were from that area and Oswestry. That tunnel needs a grille on it so people can peer in :popcorn

[QUOTE=4737carlin;112189]I seen one of those adamantine bricks at Clwyd Alloys a while back, its still the only brick like this ive managed to get a shot of inside a wall!

Shouldn't take much to chisel that out! ;)

I have alovely monk and newell from dunham park which is made all the better by knowing that youd probably walked over it at some point but not spotted it.

Took me a good 15 mins to remove it from the path it was in.:blush

I'm ok for Monk & Newells, Crosby beach has loads of em. I think I've seen that brick at Dunham, at the far end of the estate if I remember correctly on the rough pathway. I put a tracker tag on it and it's now showing it's location as "inside a sock covered in blood at the down and out's hostel near Piccadilly Station" ;););)
