The Lilleshall steelwork comes from teh Lilleshall Company works at oakengates in Shropshire. Many years ago when I was at school we were taken on a trip to see their rolling mill in action. It was all hand mauled with gangs of cloth-capped men wielding large tongs to move the red hot steel between the different rollers. There is a little informatioon here:
