Verengaria is a large stone hotel near Prodromos in the Troodos mountains, built in 1930. Advertised as the Hotel of the Kings, it played a large part in attracting high-end tourism to the area. Though a massive 1380m above sea level, the area is now better known for soft fruit farming.
