If you are referring to the 1992/93 film, then you will find the real Secret Garden in Ripon, Yorkshire at Fountains Abbey. Probably one of the most impressive monastic sites in Europe, makes an excellent day out. It is in ruins but it is still remakarable. I recognized a part of the movie setting looked familiar, googled it and there it was.
