Default Unnamed Hotel, Milan - May 2010 - 19-05-2010, 10:47

This weekend nckt, Babystrangeways and myself visited Milan.

These are the photographs from what became mine and nckt's home for the weekend. I'm avoiding naming it in case anybody else needs to sleep there over the summer!

Four stars, 300 rooms (containing granite-lined bathrooms and hydro massage tubs), twenty storeys high, right next to the Centrale train station - the location couldn't be better for our needs.

On the first night there I was woken up by voices at around 2am. I was convinced we were going to get thrown out. As the voices came nearer I realised that they weren't hotel staff but drunken Polish people who had become inadvertent urban explorers by getting pissed, going on the rooftop and taking pictures. These n00bs were using their flash though.

The strobe of their camera flash lit up the crane that we were sleeping under. They were stood no further than ten feet away from us, but the spot we'd chosen was so good that they failed to spot us.

To be fair, I'm amazed at the service I got from them considering I only left the country with €40.

Did you like the decorating I left in the house? Tell me that wasn't the coolest location EVER..! Shame it got found out but you know, I changed the locks on it a week after it was left by the builders, lived in it for three and then on the fourth week the builders came back, could have been worse..!

Well done for busting Milano. Right near Republica theres a graff store and its run by some right tonk bredders who just like to paint shit. We gave them a metro key and a map of how to get into their own subway, ironic considering on their till receipt it said "masters of the metro" and they sold t-shirts with maps of the metro.

Mine now has all the service tunnels and old stations drawn on it in fabric marker..

If you were playing about near Republica or saw an entire road covered in graff on the floors, walls, doors and bins then yeah I reckon you found it.
