Born in the 80's, so whilst my volunteer apprenticeships were on kettles (I could remove an axle from K1 on my own in three hours - quite a useful skill when she was in her "hotbox" stage!) but I like to think that the only reason I worked with steam was out of respect for the steam lads and their skill.. I'm here for the thrash and clag!
