Arrow Brick Pictures Crosby RNLI Station Beach 03/04/09 - 03-04-2009, 19:05

Thought about the brick lovers whilst walking the dog. Needless to say the dog just did its own thing and went off to roll in a dead something or other whilst I mooched among the brick graveyard.

Dont know if any of these are rare ones but you know where to find em.

Is this your baby boboil ? Thought id make a little orgy for you.

If you fancy having another go at relocating it, Im 2 mins away from there.

Im not into bricks by the way unless its a terracotta dress tile or stone. No Im wrong the only stone I want is the London Stone http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Stone FTW

Even R1 was poking the fuckers with a stick in Gypsy Brook today looking for good ones.

Although I think his intention was to collect them to sell to these fecking freaks.

If it takes the heat off the moderators' animal fetishes, I'm all for it.

When I was there yesterday, came across this huge piece of something with the letters E-L-E-C and about a mile and a half away another piece with T-R-I-C on, not sure what they might have been on but was definately part of the same originaly piece. To be honest though forget the bricks have you seen the HUGE stoneware?? looks like the huge bits of stone around those big old buildings in Liverpool. Sometimes wonder what they might have been a part of.

I am a serious fan, I have the kaleidoscope

A lot of the rubble on crosby/hightown part of the beach were from a long row of stately homes similar to the older ones on Serpentine drive, the alt changed its course and washed them into the mersey. Altcar rifle range was made not long after and they fixed the course of the alt for good. After the 2nd world war lots of rubble from the bombed buildings went here to stop the erosion. It didnt work so in the 70s they built a wall which houses a sewerage pipe to redirect it out to sea. Around the pumping station (where you can stand on the roof) there are the granite cobbles, if you look in the bank you can see a cross section of driveway made of the granite cobbles.
The architectural salvage that could be had must run into 100s of tons. Its logistically nigh impossible.

Can you describe where you saw the elec and tric parts ?
