Default ARCHIVE - Carus Mill :: Water system : Apr 09 - 27-04-2009, 19:49

Treated myself to a new camera today, as the other ones in for repair, so decided to go out and see hat it could do. With very little time it had to be something close to home so I nipped upto Vernon-Carus's old burn't down site to see what I could find. I won't go in to the history of the site as i kno that has been on NWEX previously.

Only paperwork still there...

Also on the way home, where an ancient water-mill used to sit I found these lovely little tunnels, they were a bit of a squeeze, the mill dated from 1700's.

All in all a pleasant evening mooch. Also for the brick boys out there the site has Shaws, Blackburn Plastics, Thistle, Whitaker etc... (loads!)
