I've been gathering info on this place for a long time with a view to building a model of one of their early steam ploughs. I had no idea this book existed, so I might just get myself one.
Info on Kitson is scarce. It became Kitson Hewitson sometime in the early 1800's and was then taken over by the Fowler Steam Plough Works of Leeds in the 1860's who copied their designs until they got their own ideas off the ground and went on to be the biggest steam plough builder in the world.
Sadly, after many attempts to compete with the newfangled diesel machines, they finally closed in the 1960's and the building was demolished
