Arrow ARCHIVE: Wigan Swimming Baths Crane - 14/03/10 - 15-03-2010, 21:47

Recently the old Wigan International Swimming Pool was demolished, and there were a few reports on it not too long ago. Now work has started constructing a new "£187m ‘Joint Service Centre’" which will incorporate a new pool and leisure facilities.

Work has only just started, I noticed the crane on Thursday so it's not been up long. It's only relatively small at the moment, I'm hoping it will get taller, but it's a nice one to climb.

Climbed with Over.

The Grand Arcade shopping centre car park

The library and town hall building

oo-er

I need to return in the day at some point and get some decent pictures of the crane, didn't hang around too long on this occasion

Thanks for looking
