FAQ: Posting Pictures -
21-04-2008, 00:09
Just a few things you need to know before posting pictures:
Images must not exceed 640px in width or height.
Edited and HDR are fine in small doses, a couple in a report is ok, just don't go overboard posting them - we want to see sites as your camera captures them, not edited to some psychodelic haze!
The pictures are your property, and your responsibility, please make sure the links work and are within the size guidelines as larger pictures will automatically be re-sized and will probably distort.
To post pictures, you need to host them on the Internet, most people use Photo Bucket or Imageshack or Flikr. Please remember that some hosting sites may be blocked by some corporate firewalls.
Once you have your pictures uploaded, you need to copy the image address in the post, between IMG tags, like this:
[img] INSERT YOUR IMAGE HERE!! [/img]
If you have any problems posting your pictures, just ask, the admin team are here to help you.
