Croessor - Bridge Recovery
Well the time finally came about and after weeks of planning we finally headed up to Croessor kitted up to the nines :)
The Bridge was originally installed as part of the rigging for the through trip but after a roof collapse about 3 years ago the bridge was lost to the depths.......until now :) We managed to drag the bridge to dry land so that we could straighten it and inspect any damage http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1338/...91c93576_z.jpg We then winched it over to the far side and started to bolt it back into place before re cabling some of the tie lines http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4111/...30dffc1b_z.jpg Once finished there was time for a team shot before heading back up the ropes and out into the darkness http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1221/...4d5eec1d_z.jpg |
