Chethams music school

Went out into town to pick up my new lens today, the weather looked grim so i thought i head to victoria station to get the tram back to work, when i was walking past this place, it seemed very quiet so i had a snoop around for a closer look. in the hoarding there are viewing windows so naturally i stook my head though, not a sole was there.

Ok time to get myself over this hoarding then. So i choose my route and off i went.

The history on Chethams music school dates back to medieval times, when Humphery Chetham funded chethams liburary and a hospital on the site. i m not sure on when it became a music school. i ve also not much info on the new school either.

Unfortunatly i didnt risk a crane claim coz.

1) Its not for me
2) didnt want to get cought (i ll get onto this in a min)
3) its bloody windy today

Anyhow, i took a few pictures before heading to the staircore in the corner (highest point) to get some more, but as i set off i was shouted at by security so it was time to GET THE FUCK OUT OF THERE!!!! i ve never got down ladders so fast in my life, over the hoarding and away!

In the early days, this site was armed to the tits with cameras. Did you spot any?

no to be fair Jim, i never noticed any, but i stayed well clear of the site entrance to be on the safe side

Them cranes have more anti-climb shit on them since they were originally installed.

Yup. And the first two floors of it are boarded up, with barbed wire and three cameras at the top of those!

Me & Jimmy have climbed the rear crane. Oh and if you seen Police vans steaming down Deansgate, leave. We didnt and they came from every direction possible...

Usually if you see the cranesafe signs it's not worth the effort. But as you love your cranes it's a prob more of an invite
