Default Cunard Building, Liverpool – December 2010 - 29-12-2010, 05:22

After watching a DVD through the window of someone’s apartment we headed over to this place, the photographs from our successors Appo & OneByOne had been a good enough reason to get to the top of this place.

After some blatant walking around we switched to some creeping that Scooby and the gang would have been proud of. Once at the top we chilled, took in the views and ate some victory chocolate.

Currently Grade 2 listed this place is getting ‘washed over’, the whitish grey colour is slowly returning. It was constructed over three years from 1914 and sits between the port of Liverpool building and the Liver Building – The Three Graces.

Until the 60’s shipping company Cunard Line occupied the building, it was used for passenger services to those departing and arriving from trans-Atlantic journeys. The building is owned by Merseyside Pension Fund so they’ll be chuffed to bits if they see this...

Big up my partner in crime Aos! Happy Days, Gone...

Much as I don't do rooftops, that's something that looks great. Nice shots.

Nice to see the skyline looking south for a change, good stuff. The shots showing the roof and atrium details of the Port of Liverpool building are nice to see, gotta love that lighthouse
