Default RAF Ossington - 16-03-2012, 22:35

Took a detour on the way home from Finningley (visiting XH558) to quickly check the battle headquarters at RAF Ossington.

BHQ is flooded and doesn't appear to have any interior fittings. Looks to be a variant of an 11008/41. Emergency escape hatch is smaller than usual and the ladder has been removed.

Wearing trainers and it was too cold for swimming.

Escape hatch:

There are some interesting MT sheds nearby but light/time were against checking those out on this brief visit.
