Arrow Flood Brook Culvert - Runcorn - dec 2010 - - 09-01-2011, 22:56

bit late in posting this one

its not that big of a place but i suppose anything is worth a tickle

i tried to find this place ages ago whilst out mooching with slaphead it was misty cold and dark so i gave up after about 10 mins

anyhow this place is supposed to start from halton lea and flow through beechwood between the 2 estates and goes under the m56 through 2 large sections...it does indeed

depending on whatever end you start from your greeted with a huge railway arch where the culvert flows through once you leave one of the sections.

explored with michael caine (tcci) and kevsy21

michael caine in a trolley

Nice one man! At the opposite end towards 'Halton Lea' it continues underground. I didn't have waders at the time to check it out but in the summer it might be worth it, it's only about 4/5ft RCP but it might lead to something bigger.
